One of my personal favourite colours is the rare grey sea glass,  After much research, it is said that this dates back to the early 1900s when grey glass tablewear doned the late Edwardian dining tables.  The darker tends to indicate the turn of the 1900s with the dove grey more common place in the 1920s. Why?  Glass is made from sand and sand contains many elements such as copper and the glass blowers were still working how to emlinate some of the elements to get a clearer glass.  This beautiful blue grey piece sea glass wire pendant is complimented with a tarnish resistant vintage wire and a brown waxed cotton chain.
